"Being Nofi" is the first full-length album of original electronic listening music by nofi/found. It was originally recorded and released in 1997 on CD-R and combines elements of ambient, chill-out, IDM, and techno styles.

From the artist: A number of years ago, I created some imaginary character concepts, loosely inspired by the idea of spirits or 'Loas' from Voodoo stories. I did some automatic writing and came-up with about ten or so 'beings', complete with names, traits and behaviors (largely nebulous and indistinct). New mythical creatures from my unconscious, so to speak.

This entire album is an audio journey through the world of such digital 'beings,' though each song has its own mood and character.
